Catch KK-520/521 HP with a 27-43 mm range is a catch made of stainless steel, intended for handles from the KK-520/521 family. Here the letters HP denote the stainless steel version, just as with the handles from the same group.

The catch sits at the spot where wash water tends to collect – in the frame opening, right next to the gasket. This is why the difference between galvanised and stainless steel tends to show up here faster than on the handle body itself.

Can the stainless steel version be combined with a galvanised handle?

Mechanically nothing rules this out, because the dimensional range is identical. However, it loses economic sense: the whole set will age at the rate of its weakest component.

Does a stainless steel catch require different installation?
