The KL-A INOX is a catch in AISI-304 stainless steel, listed as a material variant of the KL-A model. It is supplied as a standalone component for closing the door.
Stating the steel grade has practical value in facilities where materials are recorded in sanitary documentation. AISI-304 is a designation that can be carried straight into a specification, without having to interpret the general term "stainless".
The choice between the two versions of the same item comes down to the environment. Where the fitting is in constant contact with moisture or cleaning agents, steel performs better than zinc alloy.
