Magnetic catch ZT-1017 – how to choose the right one
The ZT-1017 is a magnetic catch with a polyamide housing, made of the same material as the ZT-1014. The choice between them is made by code, not by parameters.
The plastic has one advantage here that is rarely mentioned: it leaves no marks on the front. A metal housing pressed against a lacquered board can imprint its outline after some months, and smooth polyamide does not.
A surface with no recesses also shortens cleaning. The part is wiped in one movement, which on units checked for cleanliness has a measurable value.
