Toggle latch (stainless steel) KP-AC-1462 – how to choose the right one

KP-AC-1462 is an AISI-304 stainless steel draw latch measuring 54 × 24 mm. The known outline makes it possible to check the fit before ordering.

Fifty-four millimetres of length fit onto a narrow frame profile, where a larger fitting would foul the seal. That is an argument during a refurbishment, when the geometry of the unit is already settled and cannot be changed to suit the fitting.

Checking the size does not remove the need to establish the hole spacing. If you are replacing a fitting on a unit in service, hold the old part against it and compare both outlines.
