Catch (polyamide) KL-C PA – how to choose the right one

KL-C PA is a polyamide (P.A.) latch. The KL-C family also includes a ZnAl alloy version, so the same part comes in two materials.

The material has concrete consequences here. It does not rust, it weighs less and it does not draw heat from the hand, but under a hard pull it withstands less than a metal casting.

For freezer equipment the type of polyamide and the operating temperature range are worth confirming with an AiFO adviser before the part goes on order.
