Catch ZT-158 – how to choose the right one

ZT-158 is a catch in nickel-plated ZnAl alloy, listed in the catalogue alongside ZT-156. Both indexes share a material description, so the decision is taken at the level of the symbol, not of technical data.

The practical advantage of this version shows up during cleaning. A casting with a smooth coating has no crevices for grease to collect in, and a wipe with a cloth is enough for the part to look as it did before the shift.

How do you confirm the selection with no dimensions given?

A photograph of the mounting position and the dimension of the free space are enough. On that basis we name the right index before the order goes ahead.

Will the coating withstand washing with kitchen agents?

Daily wiping does it no harm. What does harm it are wire wool and abrasive pastes, which leave matt streaks on nickel that cannot be removed.
