Glass hinge (5-8 mm thick), left ZW-3010L – how to choose the right one
ZW-3010L is a left-hand glass hinge in chrome-plated brass with a polyamide bush, taking panes of 5–8 mm and declared at 35 kg for a pair of hinges.
Thirty-five kilograms in this thickness range is a figure that opens the way to much larger leaves than twelve-kilogram fittings. With an 8 mm pane it gives a real reserve for a tall piece of glass.
A polyamide bush in the axis is a solution known from furniture hinges: it separates metal from metal and limits the play that develops after many cycles. With glass it has a further advantage – fewer vibrations transmitted to the pane.
