Hinge (stainless steel) ZW-458 – how to choose the right one

ZW-458 is a screw-on hinge made of AISI-304 stainless steel.

Selection is made by comparison: by size, hole spacing and shape. This is typical for replacement parts, where the fit to existing holes is what matters.

The ZW-453 and ZW-445 have similar numbers, but they are made of ZnAl5 alloy. Similar numbering does not imply interchangeability or shared geometry here.

What door weight will ZW-458 hold?

If load capacity is a selection criterion, it is better to choose models with a specified permissible door weight – for example ZW-300 for 15 kg or ZW-154 for 30 kg.

Is AISI-304 sufficient for daily cleaning?

It is the standard stainless grade for screw-on fittings. For harsher conditions, some models, such as ZW-600002S, are available in AISI-316 on request.
