Rising hinge ZK-2830 – how to choose the right one
The ZK-2830 is a composite rising hinge for a cold room door weighing up to 80 kg, designed for panels 65-90 mm thick. The range can be extended with spacers: one shifts it to 75-110 mm, two to 85-130 mm.
The 2830 family stands out for its adjustment range. Besides a ± 3.5 mm depth correction, it also has ± 5 mm horizontal adjustment, giving the installer a chance to correct the leaf's fit across its full height without taking the door down. Vertical adjustment of +8/-0 mm is assigned to the RV version.
The pin is made of galvanised steel, and the manufacturer makes a stainless version on request. This matters in chambers washed with chemicals, where the pin is the most exposed part.

How do the spacers change the door thickness range?
Each one shifts the thickness window up by ten millimetres: without spacers it is 65-90 mm, with one 75-110 mm, with two 85-130 mm. The range shifts rather than widens - with two spacers the hinge no longer covers a seventy-millimetre panel.
Will one hinge carry an 80 kg door?
Eighty kilograms is the figure given for the door, not the load on a single unit - the weight is spread across all the hinges fitted. The starting point is weighing the leaf together with its fittings and gasket.
