Swing hinge (locking at 90°) ZK-6050N – how to choose the right one
The ZK-6050N is a composite swing hinge for light chamber doors - up to 40 mm thick and up to 30 kg. Its distinguishing feature is a lock that holds the leaf at a 90-degree position.
A swing hinge lets the door open both ways, which matters in high-traffic passageways where staff come through with their hands full. The lock at a right angle also makes it possible to leave the passage open, for instance during unloading.
The scope of use here is clearly different from the 2830 and 29xx series: a thinner panel, a lighter leaf and two-way operation instead of classic single-direction opening.

Both have the same load capacity and the same door thickness range, but only this model has the 90-degree lock. The version without the lock lets the leaf swing freely back to vertical.
Is a swing hinge suitable for freezer doors?
The limiting factor is above all the geometry: up to 40 mm thick and up to 30 kg. Typical freezer doors have a much thicker panel, so the 2830 and 29xx series are intended for those.
