Hinge ZK-2830 RV – how to choose the right one
The ZK-2830 RV is a version of the rising hinge fitted with vertical adjustment. The manufacturer specifies it as +8/-0 mm, meaning the leaf can be raised by up to eight millimetres, but cannot be lowered below the starting position.
In practice, this is the correction most often needed in a cold room that has settled slightly or where the gasket has lost its elasticity. The door then starts dragging its bottom edge, and raising it by a few millimetres solves the problem without moving the frame.
Apart from the vertical adjustment, the parameters remain consistent with the whole 2830 family: doors up to 80 kg, panel from 65 to 130 mm depending on the number of shims, interchangeable mounting for left and right leaves.

Ask a questionWhat exactly does the +8/-0 mm notation mean?
The adjustment only works in one direction: it lets the leaf be raised by eight millimetres, but does not provide for lowering it. If the door needs to be lowered, the starting mounting point has to be set differently.
Does the RV version differ in load capacity from the standard version?
No – both are rated for doors weighing up to eighty kilograms. The difference concerns only the available adjustment.
