Hinge ZK-2835 – how to choose the right one
The ZK-2835 is a composite hinge for cold room doors in a non-rising version, intended for leaves weighing up to 80 kg. The basic panel thickness range is 65-90 mm, extending with shims to 130 mm.
Doing without the rising function means the door stays wherever it was left. In some applications this is an advantage – for example during order picking, when a trolley drives in and out repeatedly and a leaf that swings shut on its own is just a hindrance.
The construction and the adjustments remain shared with the 2830 model, so the two variants can be treated as two working characters of the same family of fittings.

When the door needs to stand open during loading, or when the cold room has its own closing mechanism. In these conditions a rising hinge fights the staff instead of helping them.
Can a hinge be converted to a rising version later?
These are two separate item codes, not a setting on one product. Changing the working character means replacing the hinges, not adjusting the existing ones.
