Hinge ZK-731-22 L – how to choose the right one
The ZK-731-22 L is a rising hinge for a left-hand cold room door, made of grey-painted ZnAl alloy, with a maximum door weight of 70 kg. An optional 2 mm composite shim can be used with it.
Seventy kilograms is a lower value than in the composite 2830 and 29xx series, where the limit is eighty. The 731 family, however, is a metal fitting with a paint coating, which gives a different surface character and a different look on the door.
The door handing is a fixed feature of the product here – a separate item code is provided for the right-hand leaf.

Ask a questionWhat is the 2 mm shim for in this series?
It is a small correction to the hinge mounting, an order of magnitude smaller than the ten-millimetre shims in the 2830 series. It is used to level the mounting plane, not to change the door thickness range.
What is the difference between item code 731-22 and 731-27?
Both variants have the same alloy, the same maximum door weight and the same optional shim. The dimensional difference is worth confirming with an AiFO adviser before ordering.
