Hinge (ZnAl) ZW-303 – how to choose the right one

ZW-303 is a fitting in chrome-plated ZnAl5 alloy intended for doors weighing up to 15 kg, fixed with four Ø5 mm screws.

The ZW-303 and ZW-300 share the same load class, but may differ in dimensions – arm length, hole spacing or axis height. With a first order it is therefore worth asking for a drawing.

From the point of view of selection it is enough to remember that the 15 kg class is covered by two indexes. If one does not fit dimensionally, the other is sometimes the answer without changing the load class.

Will ZW-303 replace ZW-300 in a finished appliance?

Only if the hole spacing and the arm geometry agree. Matching load parameters alone is not enough for that.

Is a spacer needed for this model?

No. Spacers are assigned to specific hinges – ZW-420PV, ZW-415 and ZW-445 – and ZW-303 is not one of them.
