Hinge (ZnAl) ZW-310 – how to choose the right one
ZW-310 is a hinge in chrome-plated ZnAl5 alloy, intended for doors weighing up to 10 kg and fixed with four Ø5 mm screws.
This is the basic item for light leaves in a metal execution. Where polyamide would be too soft and full stainless steel not justified by cost, a chrome-plated casting is the natural middle ground.
The ZW-305, available in a chrome or matt finish, is in the same load class.

Ask a questionHow does ZW-310 differ from ZW-305?
Both items are rated for 10 kg and four Ø5 mm screws. ZW-305, however, has two finishes to choose from – chrome and matt under the part number ZW-305MT – whereas ZW-310 comes in one.
What happens if the declared 10 kg is exceeded?
The hinge will not break straight away, but the joint will start to work loose and the leaf will gradually drop. For heavier doors the range offers models for 15, 20 and 30 kg.
