Hinge (ZnAl) ZW-310 – how to choose the right one
ZW-310 is a hinge in chrome-plated ZnAl5 alloy, intended for doors weighing up to 10 kg and fixed with four Ø5 mm screws.
This is the basic item for light leaves in a metal execution. Where polyamide would be too soft and full stainless steel not justified by cost, a chrome-plated casting is the natural middle ground.
The description lists no supplementary components, which simplifies ordering. In the same load class there is ZW-305, with a choice of chrome or matt finish.

Both items declare 10 kg and four Ø5 mm screws. ZW-305, however, has two finishes to choose from – chrome and matt under the index ZW-305MT – which the manufacturer does not provide for ZW-310.
What happens if the declared 10 kg is exceeded?
The hinge will not break straight away, but the joint will start to work loose and the leaf will gradually drop. For heavier doors the range offers models for 15, 20 and 30 kg.
