Pressure relief valve (75-5000 m3, ceiling mounting) ZD-2251 – how to choose the right one
The ZD-2251 is a pressure relief valve without a heating element, mounted in the ceiling of a chamber with a volume from 75 to 5000 m3. The datasheet gives an operating pressure close to 100 Pa and a temperature alarm sensor included.
This variant completes the grid of four options: two mounting planes times two temperature versions. When choosing, the chamber's operating regime is settled first, and only then the location of the passage.
In a positive-temperature cold store, the ceiling can be the cleanest solution, since the valve does not clash with shelving or wall-washing. Service access does need to be planned, though, before the interior fills up.
