Pressure relief valve (up to 100 m3, -30/0°C) ZD-3200 – how to choose the right one

ZD-3200 is a pressure relief valve for rooms of 2 to 100 m³, resistant to temperatures down to -40°C and fitted with an 8 W heater.

The 8 W heater has lower power than in valves with 16 W and 40 W heaters.

The lower limit of two cubic metres makes the valve suitable for very small rooms as well. Valves for up to 20 and up to 75 m³ are also available for small rooms.

Does the ZD-3200 suit a 150 m3 chamber?

The ZD-3200 covers chambers from 2 to 100 m3, so a volume like that is outside its range. The right direction then is the ZD-22xx family, with a wider volume bracket.

What does a resistance rating down to -40°C give?

That the valve withstands temperatures down to -40°C, i.e. with a margin over its -30/0°C operating range. For rooms operating permanently below -30°C, confirm the selection with an AiFO advisor.
