Pressure relief valve (up to 2000 l, -18/+10°C) ZD-MICROELEBAR – how to choose the right one
The ZD-MICROELEBAR is a pressure relief valve for freezer units with a chamber of up to 2000 l, working in the range of -18°C to +10°C. It is mounted vertically or horizontally in a panel no more than 60 mm thick.
Three parameters decide the fit here, and all three need to be checked together: chamber volume, operating temperature and the thickness of the wall the valve will sit in. A panel thicker than sixty millimetres rules this model out regardless of the other figures.
It is worth considering the GK-MICROELEBAR heater separately. In a freezer chamber, moisture condenses on a part passing through the insulation and can freeze, jamming the valve - the heater is meant to prevent this and is ordered on request.

Ask a questionWhat happens with a chamber larger than 2000 l?
A valve with too low a flow rate will equalise pressure more slowly than needed, and the door will stay hard to open. For larger volumes, a higher-capacity model needs to be chosen.
When is the heater really needed?
Above all in chambers with sub-zero temperatures and high ambient humidity, where the temperature difference across the panel passage is greatest. The manufacturer carries it as additional equipment, not as standard.
Does mounting orientation affect how it works?
The datasheet allows both positions as equivalent, so available space in the wall decides the choice. It is only worth avoiding spots near where defrost water runs off.
