Pressure relief valve ZD-5557 – how to choose the right one
The ZD-5557 is a pressure relief valve for refrigerators and freezers, designed for 50 mm thick walls, with two-way air flow. It has a filter made of PVC and a stainless steel screen.
A filter with a screen is a feature the other valves in this group do not have. Air drawn into the chamber passes through a barrier that traps debris, and the metal screen forms an extra mechanical barrier at the inlet.
Two-way flow, in turn, means the part responds to both negative and positive pressure in the chamber. In units with doors opened frequently, this behaviour can matter more than flow capacity alone.
