Kit for terminating the cable and connecting the supply GK-SPCAK – how to choose the right one

The GK-SPCAK set is used for terminating the cable and connecting the power supply in GK-SPCA silicone heating cables. It is installation hardware matched to a specific cable family, not a universal item.

Cable sold off a reel reaches the installer as a raw length. The set closes off that length electrically and mechanically, so that the installation does not end in a makeshift job with tape and a terminal block.

When ordering, what counts is the number of terminations, not the number of metres. One run fed from one end needs one set; where cables are divided into sections that number grows.

Does this set fit a braided cable?

No. The steel-braided version has its own set, designated GK-SPCBK, matched to a different termination construction.

How many sets should be ordered for one installation?

As many as there will be supply terminations. The metreage of cable has no bearing on that number.
