Round drop-in sink O258x180 mm (bright) KZ-VRI26 – how to choose the right one
KZ-VRI26 is a round drop-in sink with a Ø258 × 180 mm bowl and a capacity of 9 dm3. The bowl is pressed from bright AISI-304 acid-resistant steel 1.1 mm thick, the rim measures 18 mm and the drain sits centrally, with a 1 1/2" connection.
The proportions of this bowl are the reverse of the larger models in the series. At just under 26 centimetres across, the bowl drops 180 mm down, deeper than the 378 and 418 mm versions. The result is a narrow, deep vessel – good for immersing things, poor for laying anything flat.
It is also worth noting what the description does not contain: an overflow. The other models in this family name one in their designation; here the water level is controlled by the user alone.

Ask a questionWhy is the smallest bowl the deepest?
Because the 9 dm3 had to fit somewhere. With a narrow basin the only way is downwards, hence 180 mm at a diameter where other families stop at 120 or 130 mm.
Is the absence of an overflow a problem?
It depends on the station. With a bowl filled under supervision – no. If, however, someone tends to walk away from running water, one of the versions with an overflow as standard is the better choice.
