Meat hook (H=100 mm) KP-AC1815-3 – how to choose the right one
The KP-AC1815-3 butcher's hook is 100 mm high and made of stainless steel. It is used for hanging products on rails and in cold rooms.
Stainless steel is a requirement here, not an aesthetic choice. The hook is in direct contact with the raw product, so the material has to take cleaning with alkaline agents and leave no traces of corrosion on the product.
The smooth surface matters for hygiene: there are no pores or seams here in which tissue could lodge. Hooks are usually cleaned in whole batches, and a non-porous material allows this to be done in a bath.
