A bumper takes the impact of a trolley instead of the cabinet edge, a waste guard closes the gap where dirt would collect, and a cover and an end cap finish off the technical opening. These are the parts ordered at the end of a project, and they are the most common reason the shipment of a whole unit is delayed. How to choose

Small parts decide how a unit stands up to daily work

A bumper costs very little and protects an edge whose repair costs a hundred times more. Along runs where trolleys move, they are fitted as a precaution and not after the first impact – a dent in the skin of a refrigerated cabinet breaks the seal of the insulation, it does not just spoil the look.

Waste guards and covers close the openings through which scraps and water get inside. They are wear parts: they fall out, they crack, they get lost during cleaning. It is worth keeping spares, because a missing cover is sometimes the reason a unit fails a sanitary inspection.

The material is chosen to suit the conditions. EPDM withstands moisture and temperature changes without hardening, PUR resists abrasion, PVC is the cheapest and sufficient where there are no loads. Black stainless steel is an aesthetic finish, used where the part is visible.
