Bumper with rail KP-C65-2072 (1830 mm) – how to choose the right one
The rail-mounted bumper KP-C65-2072 is a section 1830 mm long, in which the impact part made of grey PVC is fitted onto an aluminium profile. The set is completed by the KP-C65-5000 end cap and the KP-C65-5090 corner guard.
The division of roles is clear here: aluminium provides rigidity and a fixing point, the plastic absorbs the impact. A construction with a metal core keeps a straight line along its whole length, which a plastic strip alone does not guarantee.
When ordering, it is worth counting the finishing elements straight away. A section without end caps leaves the edge of the profile exposed, and that is exactly where the bumper most often starts to come away from the wall.

Yes. KP-C65-5000 and KP-C65-5090 are listed as separate items, although the manufacturer describes them as designed to work with this bumper.
When should the 1830 mm version be chosen instead of the 3050 mm one?
When the wall is short or when the run is broken up by doors and columns. A shorter section reduces waste when cutting to length, although on a long wall it increases the number of joints.
