The KP-LN3955 is a black ABS angle connector measuring 60 × 39 × 55 mm. It differs from its twin, the KP-LN3949, only in height – the remaining dimensions and the plastic stay the same.

Six millimetres sound like a trifle, but in finished cabinetry they decide whether the part will go into place. That is why it is better to measure the recess before ordering than to compare catalogue photographs.

Can the lower connector be used instead of this one?

Usually yes, provided the method of fixing stays the same. A shorter arm has less contact area, though, so the joint comes out less rigid.
