Cable tensioner KP-LI (O6.2) – how to choose the right one
The KP-LI in the O6,2 version is a cable tensioner with a thicker cable, supplied with a length of about 96 cm. The body is made of black plastic, just as in the thinner variant.
A thicker cable gives a margin where the load is not constant. A sudden jolt from opening too briskly loads the part differently from a steady weight, and a smaller cross-section forgives such events less often.
Before ordering a replacement it is worth comparing the diameter with what is working in the appliance. The marking on the label is sometimes illegible after years, whereas the difference between the two versions is visible to the naked eye.
