Decorative screw KP-PC03A (M6x20) – how to choose the right one
KP-PC03A is a decorative screw, M6x20, made of chrome-plated brass. It is the only one in this group with the thread and length stated in the data sheet, so selection does not require asking about dimensions.
M6 is a fine thread, and twenty millimetres of shank leaves little margin. From this length you need to subtract the thickness of the element being fastened plus the sleeve or washer, if either is part of the pack – the rest is the seating depth.
The screw belongs to the KP-PC03 family, in which the catalogue also lists an aluminium nut, a PVC sleeve and a shelf support. The set is put together for the specific joint, not automatically.

Add up the thickness of the shelf and everything that will sit between the head and the thread. If the result approaches twenty millimetres, too little thread will be left for a secure joint.
