Bumper with rail KP-C65-2120 (3050 mm) – how to choose the right one
KP-C65-2120 is a rail-mounted bumper 3050 mm long, made up of a grey PVC cover strip and an aluminium profile. It is a longer version of the same construction as KP-C65-2072 and uses the same finishing elements.
Over three metres in one piece simplifies installation on open walls of a warehouse or cold room. Every joint between sections is a spot that has to be levelled separately and that tends to open up after a few seasons.
A section of this length can, however, be awkward to transport and to carry through narrow passages. If the route to the installation site goes through a tight stairwell or lift, the shorter version can be the more sensible choice.

Yes, they have the same construction, so on one wall the longer piece can be combined with the shorter one. It is just worth planning in advance where the joint will fall.
What does the aluminium profile add to this solution?
It guides the fixing and keeps the bumper in a straight line. Without it, a long plastic element would ripple with changes in room temperature.
