Decorative screw washer KP-PC01C – how to choose the right one
KP-PC01C is a plastic washer intended for the decorative screws of the KP-PC01 family. It is placed between the head and the mounted surface so that the clamping force is spread evenly and leaves no mark.
Here plastic performs a role that metal cannot. It is softer than the surface, so it absorbs the rotational movement during tightening instead of transferring it to paint, glass or polished sheet metal.
This is a wearing part. It falls out during removal, cracks over the years and gets lost during cleaning, which is why it is kept in stock together with the screw rather than ordered only after a failure.
