Grommet KP-PG11x8 – how to choose the right one
The KP-PG11x8 is a black rubber grommet in a size between the smallest and the largest item of this series. It protects the cable where it passes through the wall of the appliance.
With parts this small the biggest risk is being one size out. Too large a grommet will not hold in the hole, too small a one will not grip the cable – and either shows up only during installation, when the appliance is already stripped down.
That is why service orders usually include a few pieces of each of two neighbouring sizes. The unit price is low enough that the stock costs less than a single interrupted installation.
