Decorative screw KP-PC01A – how to choose the right one

The KP-PC01A is a decorative screw made of chrome-plated brass, from the same family as the KP-PC01. Both part numbers share the same material and purpose but have separate codes, so the correct one must be clearly specified when ordering.

For a first order we ask for a photo or a measurement of the item to be replaced – the simplest way to get the length and head shape right.

If the screw is going into the place of a worn one, the old element resolves this fastest. The diameter of the hole and the thickness of the pack the screw passes through say more than the item name alone.

Will KP-PC01A replace KP-PC01?

This should not be assumed. The material is common, but dimensional interchangeability is checked individually before ordering.

What should you provide with an enquiry?

The symbol, the number of pieces and the thickness of the element the screw passes through. When replacing it, a photo of the old fastener with the head visible helps.

Can a finish other than chrome be ordered?

The standard is chrome-plated brass. A different finish is a matter for enquiry, not an item available off the shelf.
