A bar worktop is planned in modules, not in single elements

A bar system works when the elements line up in a run: cooled containers, space for bottles, working space and a drain. That is why they are chosen together, at the stage of the worktop drawing – adding a module to a finished fit-out usually ends in reworking the cut-out.

With ice cream accessories the dimension of the pan is an industry standard and it is what sets the rest: the width of the display case, the spacing and the number of stations. You check it before choosing the appliance, not after.

Bottle holders differ in capacity and in the way they are set – flush-mounted in the worktop or free-standing. Flush-mounted ones leave the worktop flat and easy to wipe down, free-standing ones can be moved between shifts.
