Light fitting 655x272x45 mm KP-LCE6225 – how to choose the right one
The KP-LCE6225 fitting measures 655 × 272 × 45 mm and is built into the ceiling of a short hood. Three G5 lamps of 10 W each give 1000 lumens of light at 5500 K, and the mounting opening for the fitting is 615 × 202 mm.
The short version wins where the hood hangs over a single appliance or where the centre of the ceiling is taken up by the duct spigot. Instead of looking for room for a metre-long fitting, two shorter ones are placed on either side of the obstacle, giving even light without modifying the structure.
Both lengths in the series have the same cross-section, so they line up with one another in a single run of hoods and look like one system. They differ in the power of the lamps – 10 W instead of 15 W – and that is the only detail to remember when building up a stock of tubes.

In power and flux: 3×10 W and 1000 lumens instead of 3×15 W and 2000 lumens. The 5500 K colour, the G5 base and the 100–240 V supply range remain unchanged.
Can both lengths be mixed in a single run?
Yes, because the cross-section of both fittings is identical and the edges line up. You only have to keep tubes in two power ratings in stock.
How much room should be left above the fitting?
The minimum is the 45 mm depth of the fitting plus space for routing the cable and for later access. This is checked before cutting the 615 × 202 mm opening, because once the hood is installed corrections are expensive.
