Condensate evaporation tray (300x148x100 mm) KP-BDE1017 – how to choose the right one
KP-BDE1017 is a 300 × 148 × 100 mm polypropylene condensate evaporation tray with slots for three PTC heaters. Three heating points on a base 300 mm long give the most even heat distribution in this category and the highest total power that can be installed in this size.
Spreading the power across three heaters instead of one stronger one has two practical effects. Water evaporates from the whole base area, not from above one overheated spot, and the failure of one heater doesn't stop evaporation – the unit keeps working at reduced performance, instead of flooding the condensing unit compartment. Heaters are ordered separately, in the 230 V or 110 V INCOLOY version.

As many as the amount of condensate calls for, not as many as there are slots. The three positions are a design margin: a typical installation fits one or two heaters, and the third is kept for units working in high humidity or for later changes in conditions. Every unused slot has to stay sealed throughout the working life.
How does KP-BDE1017 differ from KP-BDE1016?
In the number of heater slots – three instead of two – and in its proportions: 300 × 148 × 100 mm versus 300 × 140 × 106 mm. The material and length are the same. KP-BDE1017 is 6 mm lower, which can be decisive in a tight installation, and 8 mm wider, which needs checking the other way round.
