Condensate evaporation tray (305x200x85 mm) KP-BDE2030 – how to choose the right one
KP-BDE2030 is a polyethylene condensate evaporation tray measuring 305 × 200 × 85 mm. Compared with the smaller KP-BDE210, it gives almost twice the water surface area, and it's this that determines the rate of passive evaporation: at the same volume, a wide, shallower tank releases water faster than a tall, narrow one.
The model is designed to work without a heater, so its performance depends on the temperature and airflow in the condensing unit compartment. In a tight, enclosed space with no airflow, water evaporates slowly regardless of the surface area – in that case, either the compartment needs ventilating, or a tray with a heater is needed instead.

Ask a questionWhen should you switch from KP-BDE210 to KP-BDE2030?
When water persists in the smaller tray between defrost cycles, or when overflows occur. A 305 × 200 mm footprint increases the evaporation area by about 90% and gives a volume margin. If even that isn't enough, the problem is no longer the tank's size, but the lack of a heater – in that case, the model needs to be changed to one designed for a heater.
Can the tray be placed directly on the compressor?
Polyethylene isn't designed for permanent contact with hot components. For mounting on the compressor, the polypropylene KP-RO-870 is used instead. KP-BDE2030 is placed on the floor of the condensing unit compartment, ideally in the airflow exhausted from the condenser – this raises the evaporation rate without risking deformation of the moulding.
