Condensate evaporation tray (325x200x41 mm) KP-BCPT2 – how to choose the right one
KP-BCPT2 is a horizontal polymer condensate evaporation tray: 325 × 200 × 41 mm, 1.5 l, with room for two PTC heaters. It combines two things that rarely go together in this category – an installation height under 5 cm and evaporation assisted by heaters spread along the base.
Spacing two heaters along a 325 mm base has a specific reason in a flat tank: the water layer here is shallow, so a single heater quickly gets exposed at the point where it's hottest. The tray accepts KP-PTC heaters at 230 V and KP-PTC 110V INCOLOY, ordered separately.

Ask a questionIs 1.5 l enough in such a flat tray?
Volume matters less here than in a tank without heating. With the heaters fitted, the tray doesn't store water, it evaporates it continuously, and the 1.5 l is a margin for when the unit is stopped or during a power interruption. If the tray is meant to work without heaters, at a similar clearance KP-BCPT1 holds more – 1.65 l.
How does it differ from the KP-BCPT2N version?
Only by the heater opening. KP-BCPT2N is the same 325 × 200 × 41 mm moulding with the same 1.5 l, but closed – for applications with passive evaporation. Switching the other way isn't possible without modifying the moulding, so the decision on heaters needs to be made before placing the order.
