Condensate evaporation tray (500x70x67 mm) KP-BDT – how to choose the right one
KP-BDT is a polypropylene condensate evaporation tray with unusual proportions: 500 × 70 × 67 mm, with a capacity of 1.5 l. It fits where an ordinary tray won't – in a narrow gap along the back or side wall of the unit, at an installation width of around 7 cm.
The elongated shape changes how it's mounted. A tray 500 mm long has to be supported along its full length and levelled, otherwise water collects at one end and overflows the edge before the tank uses its full 1.5 l. If the condensate needs to evaporate continuously, the same body with a PTC heater fitted carries the symbol KP-BDT-H.

Along its full length and level. Supported only at the ends, it sags under the weight of 1.5 l of water, and any tilt along its axis makes the water gather at one end and escape over the 67 mm edge, even though the tank isn't full. It's worth checking the level after installation, on the filled tray.
When should KP-BDT be chosen instead of a compact-footprint tray?
When width is the constraint, not height. At 70 mm, no other model in this category fits – the narrowest of the rest is 120 mm. If, instead, the vertical clearance is the problem, the right direction is the flat models: KP-BCPT1 at 36.5 mm high, or KP-BCPT2 at 41 mm high.
