Condensate evaporation tray without an opening (325x200x41 mm) KP-BCPT2N – how to choose the right one
KP-BCPT2N is a flat polymer condensate evaporation tray: 325 × 200 × 41 mm and 1.5 l, made without the heater opening. It matches the KP-BCPT2 model in dimensions, but has no prepared slots – it works as a tank with passive evaporation.
With a footprint close to a sheet of A4 and a height of 41 mm, the tray practically doesn't raise the unit and doesn't take up space in the condensing unit compartment. It also has no electrical parts, so the only installation requirements are the ability to slide the tank out for servicing and levelling it – with a water layer of just a few centimetres, any tilt immediately shifts the surface to one edge.

The choice is decided by the shape of the free space under the unit, since the capacities are similar: 1.5 l versus 1.65 l. KP-BCPT2N is a 325 × 200 mm rectangle 41 mm high; KP-BCPT1N is 300 × 222 mm, 36.5 mm high. At a clearance under 41 mm, only the lower version is an option.
Does an overflow need to be routed to the closed tray?
No, if the condensate build-up stays within 1.5 l and the water has time to evaporate between services. If not, the water needs to be drained away from the unit, or the heated version KP-BCPT2 should be chosen instead. The tray has no overflow protection, so excess water spills over the top, onto the floor and the components under the unit.
