In brief
Prices and stock levels are in the B2B shop. Thermoformed made-to-measure parts are quoted individually – a drawing or the installation dimensions is enough.
KP-BDE30 is an aluminium condensate evaporation tray with a built-in 300 W heater, measuring 320 × 120 × 65 mm with a capacity of 1.5 l. Evaporation performance is 0.20 l an hour: a full tank evaporates in about 7.5 hours, and with continuous operation the tray handles nearly 4.8 l of water a day. The tank and the heat source form a single unit, so during installation there's no separate heater to choose and no passage to make through the tray wall.
Aluminium has a specific rationale here: the heater releases heat to the base, and the base to the water, so the better the material conducts, the smaller the share of power lost to the condensing unit compartment, and the more reliably the tray reaches the stated 0.20 l/h. The second feature that decides the choice is the 320 × 120 mm footprint – the tray fits into compartments where 140–200 mm wide models no longer fit, while taking up only 65 mm of height.
Where to start: installation height, capacity, heater – we explained it in the selection guide for this category.

FAQ
Have not found your answer? Give the installation dimensions and the amount of condensate – we will select the tray and the heater.
Ask a questionThe reference point is 0.20 l an hour, i.e. nearly 4.8 l a day with continuous operation. It's enough to compare this with the amount of water running off the evaporator – the simplest way is to measure it once, collecting condensate in a measuring vessel over a day of full load. A result under a few litres is within this tray's capability; above that, a larger tank or additional heating is needed.
From a 230 V circuit; the current draw is then about 1.3 A. The lead is routed so it doesn't lie on the floor of the condensing unit compartment, where water collects, and the connection is made outside the flooding zone. The heater is built into the tray, so during installation it isn't chosen or sealed separately – the ready-made assembly is simply connected.
By checking the heater's power supply and the base's temperature after ten to fifteen minutes of operation. If the base is warm and the water keeps building up, the typical cause is deposits carried over from the evaporator and scale on the base – a layer of deposits worsens heat transfer to the water, and the actual performance drops below 0.20 l/h. The tray is slid out, rinsed and put back; this is part of periodic servicing, not a fault.
