KP-BDE300-T is an aluminium condensate evaporation tray with a 300 W heater and a thermostat, measuring 320 × 120 × 65 mm with a capacity of 1.5 l. Evaporation performance is 0.20 l an hour, the same as the version without a thermostat – the difference isn't in the evaporation rate, but in what fraction of the day the heater actually runs.
The maths is simple: 300 W over a full day is 7.2 kWh. In a unit that releases condensate only for part of the time – working seasonally, switched off outside operating hours, or loaded unevenly – the controlled heater runs for a fraction of that time. A shorter running time also translates into slower wear of the heating element itself.

Yes. The 320 × 120 × 65 mm footprint, 1.5 l capacity, 300 W power and 0.20 l/h performance are the same in both models, so the mounting and the free space under the unit stay unchanged. The difference concerns the electrical part: servicing needs to allow access to the control unit, not just to the tank itself.
How much energy does a tray with a 300 W heater use?
With continuous operation, 0.3 kW × 24 h gives 7.2 kWh a day. Actual consumption depends on the amount of water to be evaporated: at a build-up of around 1 l a day, a heater with a performance of 0.20 l/h needs about 5 hours of running time, i.e. about 1.5 kWh. It's worth calculating this difference for your own unit before choosing a version.
