KP-BDA-H is an aluminium condensate evaporation tray 280 × 130 × 72 mm with a capacity of 1.9 l and a factory-fitted PTC heater. It is ordered as a set in one of three versions – KPP-BDA-H-PTC1, KPP-BDA-H-PTC2 or KPP-BDA-H-PTC3 – depending on the KP-PTC heater model chosen.
The set has one advantage over a tray retrofitted on site, but an important one: the seal where the heater passes through the tank wall is made by the manufacturer. That is the most common source of leaks in trays modified in-house. The 1.9 l capacity – the largest in this category – also leaves a reserve for the time when the appliance is standing and the heater is unpowered.

The versions differ only in the KP-PTC heater fitted, not in the tray itself – the body, the 280 × 130 × 72 mm footprint and the 1.9 l capacity are identical in all three. When enquiring it is enough to give the heater symbol or the daily condensate output and the temperature in the compressor compartment; on that basis we select the version.
Can the same tray be bought without a heater?
Yes, as KP-BDA – an identical aluminium body 280 × 130 × 72 mm with a capacity of 1.9 l, without a heater and without a prepared passage for one. The version without a heater is chosen where evaporation is to be unassisted or the tank is emptied by hand; if heating is required from the outset, the -H set is the safer choice.
