Profile – PU-206 + PU-207 – how to choose the right one
PU-206 and PU-207 are a grey set of rigid PVC body profiles, prepared for a magnetic insert and a heating cable. The set closes the unit's frame on the side the door gasket seals against.
The magnetic insert set into the profile determines how firmly the door holds in the frame. The magnet needs a solid backing along the whole length of the side, because wherever the strip wavers or recedes, the gasket lifts off at that point and the seal stops being tight.
Since the profile works along the door's contact line, its straightness matters more than in purely structural profiles. Sections cut to length are best joined flush, without excess that would later lift the strip.
