Profile PU-HA_grey RAL7040 (3 m) – how to choose the right one
PU-HA is a rigid PVC profile in RAL 7040 grey, supplied as standard in three-metre lengths. The manufacturer also produces other lengths and colours to order.
The option of ordering a non-standard version changes the way the installation is designed. Instead of fitting the structure to the three metres available, you can order a length to suit the dimension of the unit and eliminate joints where they happen not to be needed.
Two things matter with such orders and are worth thinking about in advance: the lead time for the extrusion and the minimum quantity at which the manufacturer starts production. Both are settled at the enquiry stage, together with the quotation.

The manufacturer does not close this off with a list, so the specific shade is agreed individually at the enquiry stage. With through-colouring you have to allow for a minimum batch size, because the extruder is started up for a whole run.
How long does a non-standard length take?
The date depends on the production load and is given with the quotation. When planning the installation, it is worth asking about it at the design stage, not when the crew is already waiting for the material.
