Hinge ZK-2915 – how to choose the right one
The ZK-2915 is a cold room door hinge without the rising function, with the smallest offset in the series – from 55 to 66 mm, and from 65 to 86 mm with one shim. It handles panels from 55 to 152 mm thick and leaves weighing up to 80 kg.
This configuration is used where the door needs to stand open while not protruding far beyond the outline of the cold room. Typically these are installations in a narrow service corridor, or cold rooms placed wall to wall.
The depth adjustment in this family is ± 2.5 mm, and it is what governs the compression of the leaf against the gasket.

Yes, the range here starts at fifty-five millimetres, while in the 2830 series the lower limit is sixty-five. For thin panels, this is the right family to choose.
What is the ± 2.5 mm depth adjustment for?
It moves the leaf perpendicular to the plane of the frame, that is, it adjusts the compression on the gasket. Too little compression shows up as frost at the edge; too much – as difficult closing and faster wear of the seal.
