Hinge (ZnAl) ZW-440 – how to choose the right one
ZW-440 is a screw-on hinge in chrome-plated ZnAl5 alloy, fitted with a steel pin and four holes for Ø5 mm screws. The brass variant is ZW-440FL.
The four-hundred numbering gathers several closely related fittings in this range – alongside ZW-440 there are ZW-445 with an assigned spacer and the stainless ZW-458. A shared prefix does not, however, mean shared dimensions.
When selecting for a new design this model is a safe starting point: standard Ø5 mm screws, no additional components in the description and an available material alternative for the pin.
