Gas valve (1/2" female) AG-RBLV10 – how to choose the right one
The AG-RBLV10 is a gas valve with a 1/2 inch female-thread connection and a plastic knob. Of the four gas valves in this category, it is the larger of the two available sizes - the smaller is 3/8 inch.
The diameter is not chosen with a margin. The valve has to go into an existing line, so what matters is matching the stub, not oversizing it: going from 3/8 to 1/2 inch needs a reducer, which is itself an extra joint to seal.
