Lid for a gastronorm container 325x176 mm (polycarbonate) KZ-GNT13 – how to choose the right one
The polycarbonate GN 1/3 lid covers an edge measuring 325 × 176 mm. Dividing the module into three is the most common counter layout, so this size is usually ordered in the largest number of pieces of the whole set.
In the cold room, closed GN 1/3 containers are set out in rows along the shelf. The transparent panel turns such a row into a legible list: the contents are recognised from the aisle, without pulling the containers out and without setting them down on the worktop.
The elongated shape also gives stable support over the whole length, so a container placed on top does not rock. That matters in trolleys, where containers travel one on top of another between the kitchen and the service point.

Yes, within this module the rim has the same dimension regardless of the container material. The only limitation is the working temperature of the plastic, so in the heated section a steel lid is the one that performs.
How many lids are needed for a counter with three wells?
They are counted against filled containers, not against wells – with full rotation that comes to six, because the spare batch waits in the cold room already closed.
Are the contents visible through the panel with a deep container as well?
What is visible is the surface of the contents, not their quantity – with a 200 mm container there is no way to judge through the lid how much product is left. The level is then read through the transparent wall of the container.
