In brief
Prices and stock levels are in the B2B shop. Filters in non-standard sizes are made to order.
The KP-DV-30-IX oil drain valve is used to empty the gutter of a catering hood of the grease collected from the filters. It is made of AISI-304 stainless steel, resistant to hot grease and to degreasing agents.
Without the valve, the contents of the gutter are taken out with a cloth or a removable cup, usually while standing under the hood. With a full gutter this ends in drips on the cooking surface and on the floor. A tap with a spout turns the job into a simple pour into a closed container.
When fitting into an existing hood, the bottom of the gutter is what counts: the valve only makes sense at its lowest point, so if the sheet has no fall, some of the grease will stay inside regardless of the tap. It is worth checking this with a spirit level before the hole is made.
How a baffle filter differs from a mesh one – we explained it in the selection guide for this category.

FAQ
Have not found your answer? Give the hood dimensions and the type of kitchen – we will select the filters.
Ask a questionBefore the level reaches the edge – in practice every time the filters are taken down. Pouring off warm grease goes faster than scooping out grease that has set over the weekend.
It is collected into a closed container and handed over for collection together with used frying oil. It does not go into the sink, because it sets in the pipework and loads the grease separator.
It fits wherever the gutter has a prepared hole or one can be made. Before ordering you need to check the diameter and the thickness of the sheet at the mounting point, and with a hood from another manufacturer also whether there is room for a vessel under the gutter.
