It is a precise combination of copper tubes and aluminium fins, forming a highly efficient cooling system. The casing is made from galvanised steel or aluminium, and the evaporator can additionally be protected with a black cataphoretic coating (RAL 9005).
The environment inside refrigerated cabinets can be aggressive due to food acids and cleaning agents. The cataphoretic coating dramatically extends the life of the heat exchanger and guarantees the safety of the food stored (HACCP).
The right fin spacing prevents the heat exchanger from frosting up too quickly, which is crucial in high-humidity equipment (meat and dairy counters). This means defrost cycles can be less frequent, resulting in lower energy consumption.
