Have you ever thought about how many times you can open doors with a magnetic seal? Once again, at AiFO Components, we aim to break the record for opening and closing refrigeration doors. All of this is to test durability, improve our product range, and continually ensure the highest quality.

At AiFO Components, we strive to make our products functional, efficient, durable, and compliant with all refrigeration industry standards. In line with this idea, at the beginning of the year, we started working on creating a new tester for opening and closing refrigeration doors. Our design department was fully responsible for this project.

How is our seal testing machine built?

The device is used to test the durability of welded seals and operates 24 hours a day, continuously opening and closing doors. This allows us to test and check new seal models introduced to our range and improve existing products.

Our designers, taking into account previous projects and know-how, created a new and more efficient seal tester. The device has essential components that enable reliable testing and uninterrupted operation. The tester consists of, among others, a drive module, an opening arm, a counter, and typical refrigeration appliance doors. It has been constructed in a universal way to test various types of seals and self-closing hinges produced at AiFO Components.

We are currently testing a new seal solution in which we have applied structural changes. We have also modified the shape of the profiles and the blend of extruded materials. We aim to break the opening record, which currently belongs to a seal tested in 2023, amounting to 500,000 cycles. The special design makes us confident that we will achieve this without any problems.

It is also worth mentioning that in the same test cycle, we are testing the ZW-TRS1C hinge. This way, we will have reliable information about both the seals and the hinges, allowing us to study and further improve both new and existing models.
